I read a review from 4 years ago of someone wanting online sermons to be available on this app. I feel the same way. I started downloading Proverbs from the website, but they are nowhere to be found on the app. It would be very convenient to synchronize the sermons available online with the app. It just makes sense.

I love the Bible format in this app! I’ve used the reading plan for years, with the option of audio in the ESV. I find the format of the Bible easy to use to locate whatever book or chapter I need to read or hear. Tim Keller’s sermons are also insightful. I generally listen to the podcast elsewhere, but it is nice to be able to search on this app if I’m looking for a particular topic or scripture.

The content here is wonderful. This app is very difficult to use. I’ve purchased a number of sermons and find it very difficult to find them on this app. I finally just gave up and put a bookmark on my iPhone of the site which is far easier to use than this app. Please make the use of this app more intuitive! It needs a redesign or a do-over entirely!

I’ve followed your daily Bible reading for years but starting April 16, 2021 it no longer works. I have contacted Redeemer website and reported the problem but it still doesn’t function. Big disappointment. If that part worked I’d give your app a Five Star rating.

The app is great, but has lately started to unexpectedly crash whenever I attempt to play a downloaded sermon. An update that would address this bug would be much appreciated!

Really wish I could load the sermons I’ve purchased from the website here and have them all one place. Otherwise it’s just very frustrating to listen to those sermons since they are next to impossible to get on my phone without a huge ordeal. I end up using my laptop but that’s just not ideal. Please consider adding that feature! In app purchases of sermons would be great as well!

I LOVE listening to Tim Keller and just started back again after a long break post baby. Somehow I can’t get the sermons to download. How can I get help?

I really love all the resources and content, however the last two days when I click on a sermon or podcast to listen to it’s blank and I’m not able to play anything. Hopefully a bug that will be fixed soon!

I'm so excited to see this new way to easily stream sermons from Redeemer. The old app was confusing and convoluted to find sermons to stream. This is so orderly and intuitive and easy! Can't wait to listen!

As a heavy user of the The Gospel in Life sermon resources, it would be great if my account could connect to this app and I had mobile access to my purchased sermons (and could make purchases from the entire library within the app). It's always been a bit clunky to use the desktop web browser to purchase, then download, then upload to my phone. Seamless integration would be awesome.

App does not work on my iPhone 5c.

Tim Keller is an amazing bible teacher. I absolutely love listening to him. But this app doesn't let you do that. Also very disappointed how much redeemer charges for audio. Check out xenos Christian fellowship web site for decades of great teachings for free.

I love the Redeemers app. I haven't visited the church yet, so I love all of the resources they have just on the app. The sermons are excellent and gospel centered. I recommend this app to everyone because I know they won't be steered wrong, they won't have trouble navigating and they will find great resources. Th sermons are my go to in the car. For the last two weeks however I have been unable to play sermons on wifi or on data. They seem to be about to start but never do. Please fix! I love this app.

Please, I am begging you to fix this app. I used it everyday for my Bible reading. I had finally found something that worked for me: listen to the audio of the Bible through this wonderful app while jotting down notes/thoughts. But since the first of the year, the app has been glitchy and even reinstalling doesn't help. 3/4 of the time the audio won't load. Please help! I love this app!!!

I really like the Redeemer app and have downloaded sermons to listen to on the train but lately I can't seem to access the app when it is offline at all. Please fix!

love this app but lately none of the sermons have been loading! I have tried to uninstall and reinstall only to have the same problem. Hopefully I can get it figured out because Tim Keller sermons are amazing.

Once I upgraded to the iPhone 6Plus the Seemin Podcasts will not work through this app!! I cannot download this app through my Podcast app. Not sure why. Please fix this Redeemer!

Great sermons with great information; however, the app itself needs to fix some bugs. Several of the podcasts do not load.

This app need to work offline. People don't like to keep their phone on in church because there's terrible reception in all the services and it drains the battery of the phone. Also, it's nice to keep the phone off so not to receive calls and texts during service. It's really a shame the bulletins can't be used offline once it's downloaded. Surprised a vendor would design this so poorly.

Great app!

I used to listen to Tim Keller's sermons on my ipod using the podcast. Now I can only find this app for devices that I do not own. There should be some PC-compatible option available. To limit this material to ipads, iphones, and Macs is just elitist and unfair.

I love this app. Great sermons that help renew my mind and gain a deeper understanding of God and his love and wisdom. I wish I could share the sermons through text, email or FB though.

This app really needs to run in the background like other media player apps. If I pause a streaming media source from the lock screen, the app shuts down and I have to re-launch and start over. Sometimes it finds it's place again, but sometimes it doesn't. Overall, it's still worth the frustrations.

Great app. Congrats. Pls check download option. I'd love to be able to listen to sermons offline. I tried last night but couldn't listen to anything downloaded (actually, it seemed to never conclude downloading). I think download was very slow and stopped when the app wasn't in the foreground. I also had the feeling that you couldn't have two downloads going in parallel.

This app is fantastic. I have been mainly using the bible reading plan and have grown closer to God through his holy Scriptures. One annoying thing is that the date is off on the 2013 Bible Reading Plan. For example, July 25 is a Thursday, not a Friday. Regardless, love the app, love the church.

Adding an ability to search by scripture index would be a big improvement. Really love Tim Keller and would love to be able to hear his perspective on the particular scripture I'm studying.

Works flawlessly. Now I can listen to TK to and from work by streaming directly to my car stereo. Can't believe it's free!

I love Timothy Keller and am so excited an app is up. However, I can't get it to work at all, no sermons will play for me. Please fix this because I am really looking forward to using this app!

Sermons won't play, and if they do... They stop as soon as your screen turns off

I love using this app when it works... The sermons only play when my iPhone is unlocked and has the app open. I wish I could play it in the background and lock my phone while listening. I can't wait for the fix!

Yes, there are some technical problems with the app that I hope they are working on. However, tolerating the occasional technical problem is well worth it. I cannot imagine another American pastor who presents Biblical truth more intelligently, thoughtfully, and relevantly. Tim Keller is an amazing scholar whose sermons are engaging, convicting and culturally relevant.

When I moved away from the city I was sad to leave Redeemer. I miss Redeemer but this app let's me have a piece of my home church. The sermons and podcasts work great even over 3G and the app is easy to use! Tim Keller's sermons are inspirational and I love that there's an app that allows me to listen to them anytime and anywhere!

As everyone has said, many of the sermons don't play. Redeemer itself is fantastic, the app not so much.

I really wanted to like this application and give it 5 stars because it makes Tim Keller's amazing sermons accessible. Yet its issues with execution make the app hard to use at best, and unusable at worst. As people have said, getting the sermons to stream can be challenging. Over half the time they don't work at all and I have to download them. When I only have 3G connectivity, this can take up to 20 minutes per sermon. And when they do work, they don't often play in the background. So I can't use the phone for anything else and I can't even put it to sleep. I can't figure out why some sermons play in the background and others don't. The app itself "feels" slow. It has to load content for every screen, especially when you want to view the list of available sermons. I also wish it listed them more systematically so it would be easier to track which ones I have already listened to. If the app kept a local cache of a list of content and then would check in the background for changes on startup, I think the app would feel a lot more responsive. Note that I don't say these things to be critical, but to provide feedback so the app can get better. It is still a blessing to be able to listen to these sermons when I'm in the car.

The sermons won't play. It's very frustrating.

At one point there were some sermons that wouldn't stream, but I was still able to download them. It looks like the ones that didn't stream before have been fixed. Also there are more free sermons than when the app was first released. I think there are now about 250 available to stream or download. Overall this app is great for getting essential Keller and Redeemer content.

I'd like to listen to Tim Keller sermons in the car, but this almost never works! Very frustrating.

Love being able to hear Timothy Keller sermons. Love the New Birth videos. Sure there are some technical issues and I am ready for a lot more sermons to be added but I still greatly appreciate this app so very much :)

I love that Redeemer is so with the times. This app is great.

Someone emailed me about this app anonymously and it has really changed my outlook on things. There are some issues with the app and I'd like to see more sermons and maybe a way to listen live, but all in all it's a fabulous thing to have and I'm thankful for it.

I've been using this app for several months, about a year now and it may have crashed on me only a few times. Keep an eye on the timer of the sermon once in a while just in case it crashes because it will start all over when you relaunch the sermon. Tim Keller's sermons are gems. This app makes 30-40mins of jogging go quickly! Double benefit: physical and spiritual workout! One suggestion: please add category of sermons by Scripture Reference. Thanks!

It crashes a lot... And the sermons are organized very poorly.. There should also be a lot more sermons up as well...

I love putting my headphones in while walking and being able to listen to the wonderful mp3s. It is also great to have the bulletins for each weeks sermons handy. Love this app!
