The sermons wont play. Its very frustrating.

I really wanted to like this application and give it 5 stars because it makes Tim Kellers amazing sermons accessible. Yet its issues with execution make the app hard to use at best, and unusable at worst. As people have said, getting the sermons to stream can be challenging. Over half the time they dont work at all and I have to download them. When I only have 3G connectivity, this can take up to 20 minutes per sermon. And when they do work, they dont often play in the background. So I cant use the phone for anything else and I cant even put it to sleep. I cant figure out why some sermons play in the background and others dont. The app itself "feels" slow. It has to load content for every screen, especially when you want to view the list of available sermons. I also wish it listed them more systematically so it would be easier to track which ones I have already listened to. If the app kept a local cache of a list of content and then would check in the background for changes on startup, I think the app would feel a lot more responsive. Note that I dont say these things to be critical, but to provide feedback so the app can get better. It is still a blessing to be able to listen to these sermons when Im in the car.

As everyone has said, many of the sermons dont play. Redeemer itself is fantastic, the app not so much.

When I moved away from the city I was sad to leave Redeemer. I miss Redeemer but this app lets me have a piece of my home church. The sermons and podcasts work great even over 3G and the app is easy to use! Tim Kellers sermons are inspirational and I love that theres an app that allows me to listen to them anytime and anywhere!

Yes, there are some technical problems with the app that I hope they are working on. However, tolerating the occasional technical problem is well worth it. I cannot imagine another American pastor who presents Biblical truth more intelligently, thoughtfully, and relevantly. Tim Keller is an amazing scholar whose sermons are engaging, convicting and culturally relevant.

I love using this app when it works... The sermons only play when my iPhone is unlocked and has the app open. I wish I could play it in the background and lock my phone while listening. I cant wait for the fix!

Sermons wont play, and if they do... They stop as soon as your screen turns off

I love Timothy Keller and am so excited an app is up. However, I cant get it to work at all, no sermons will play for me. Please fix this because I am really looking forward to using this app!

Works flawlessly. Now I can listen to TK to and from work by streaming directly to my car stereo. Cant believe its free!

Adding an ability to search by scripture index would be a big improvement. Really love Tim Keller and would love to be able to hear his perspective on the particular scripture Im studying.

This app is fantastic. I have been mainly using the bible reading plan and have grown closer to God through his holy Scriptures. One annoying thing is that the date is off on the 2013 Bible Reading Plan. For example, July 25 is a Thursday, not a Friday. Regardless, love the app, love the church.

Great app. Congrats. Pls check download option. Id love to be able to listen to sermons offline. I tried last night but couldnt listen to anything downloaded (actually, it seemed to never conclude downloading). I think download was very slow and stopped when the app wasnt in the foreground. I also had the feeling that you couldnt have two downloads going in parallel.

This app really needs to run in the background like other media player apps. If I pause a streaming media source from the lock screen, the app shuts down and I have to re-launch and start over. Sometimes it finds its place again, but sometimes it doesnt. Overall, its still worth the frustrations.

I love this app. Great sermons that help renew my mind and gain a deeper understanding of God and his love and wisdom. I wish I could share the sermons through text, email or FB though.

I used to listen to Tim Kellers sermons on my ipod using the podcast. Now I can only find this app for devices that I do not own. There should be some PC-compatible option available. To limit this material to ipads, iphones, and Macs is just elitist and unfair.

This app need to work offline. People dont like to keep their phone on in church because theres terrible reception in all the services and it drains the battery of the phone. Also, its nice to keep the phone off so not to receive calls and texts during service. Its really a shame the bulletins cant be used offline once its downloaded. Surprised a vendor would design this so poorly.

Great sermons with great information; however, the app itself needs to fix some bugs. Several of the podcasts do not load.

Once I upgraded to the iPhone 6Plus the Seemin Podcasts will not work through this app!! I cannot download this app through my Podcast app. Not sure why. Please fix this Redeemer!

love this app but lately none of the sermons have been loading! I have tried to uninstall and reinstall only to have the same problem. Hopefully I can get it figured out because Tim Keller sermons are amazing.

I really like the Redeemer app and have downloaded sermons to listen to on the train but lately I cant seem to access the app when it is offline at all. Please fix!
